To get a better idea of the humanitarian catastrophe in the minority Tamil north and east of Sri Lanka, especially after the holocaust of May 18, 2009, inevitably requires access to the testimonies of survivors of both sides of the spectrum of the tragedy that elicited the conflict for independence of the homeland Tamil Eelam.
Tamil people should continue their effort for attaining separate Tamil Eelam and self respect.
