During 2003” Solai” a journalist has written an essay in a magazine stating that India will become a Hindu Raj within two years. All the people throughout the world knows, in the name of religion India was divided.


I was wondering why Solai was writing like this when India is based on the Hindu culture and a different way of life different from other religions and why it cannot be called as Hindustan like Pakistan. If India becomes a Muslim or Christian country only we have to worry. To give a reply to Solai, I have written an essay in “Engal Baratham” Magazine during March 2003. Now I have narrated that reply in Tamil thro “you Tube” video.


After partition of India, 80% Hindu Temple, Ashrams, Shrines, and Religious Institutions have already been captured by Muslims in Pakistan and in Pakistan amounts only 2% Hindu population now a days against its 16% Hindu population in 1947, at the time of partition.


In India this is different the Muslim and Christian people population here are enjoying all facilities and increasing day by day. Like that the Christian invaders have constructed Churches in India and going on converting Hindus to Christianity. The Muslims rulers like The Moghal King Aurangazeb destroyed the temple of Vishnu and then razed to the ground a shrine at Mathura and on its site built a mosque. In India Muslims and Christians were placed in a better position when compared to the Hindus in Pakistan.


In India our Indian leaders itself standing, against the Hindu culture and religion. ‘Periyar’ E V Ramasamy launched one of his numerous agitations in the early 1950s against religion and attendant superstitions by breaking idols of Lord Ganesha. During M Karunanidhi's earlier term as chief minister in 1989-90, DK men attacked Brahmins and cut their sacred threads.


Because of people like “Solai” wrong interpretation were created on Hindus to spoil the whole Indian culture and community. The sages and poets in India have only preached the sense of unity love and moral habits as Indian culture. India has been a cultural unit on account of all-embracing religions.


Pakistan was created on Islamic religious grounds, and on the same policy India to be called as Hindustan. Hindus never hate any religion and all other religions are well growing in India.

India on Sunday 8-4-2012 reacted positively to Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari’s fresh bid for normalization of ties, but made it clear that Pakistan would have to take substantive steps on terrorism for peace among the nuclear armed neighbors. In a closed-door meeting, PM Manmohan Singh made it clear to Zardari that Pakistan would be tested by its actions against the Mumbai attacks perpetrators.



He specifically referred to leT Chief Hafiz Saeed, making it clear that India had not changed the bottom-line so far as its demand for concrete action against terrorism was concerned.

The attack left 126 people-98 civilians, 14 policemen and 14 foreigners dead and 327 injured. The Maharashtra Anti Terrorism Squad Chief Hemant Karkare, who was investigating Malegon blasts, was also killed in this episode of violence. The major deaths took place at CST station and in Hotels Taj and Trident. Despite this what did not find much coverage was the attack on CST,



The Pakistan activists who were responsible for these attacks were not yet punished. If zardari wants to get real peace and happiness, he must at least now take fruitful efforts in stopping terrorist’s activities against India.



The situation needs to be brought under control. Terrorism has to be rooted out. But surely terrorism is a symptom of a deeper disease, talking about the underlying reasons is not taken up seriously.

The Supreme Court asked the Centre to make its stand clear on the issue of whether Ram Sethu can be declared a national monument. It also directed the government to place on record within six weeks RK Pachauri committee's report on the feasibility of an alternative alignment for the 2,427-crore Sethusamudram project, without cutting Ram Sethu.



The bench granted six weeks time to the government to furnish a copy of the Pachauri report on the feasibility of the execution of the project through Dhanuskodi instead of routing it through Ram Sethu.



The project was flagged off in 2005 but later met opposition following a decision to dredge 'Ram Sethu', believed to have been constructed by Lord Ram to cross to Sri Lanka. A number of petitions, some of them transferred from Madras High Court to the apex court, have objected to the project on the ground of environmental concerns.



DMK President M Karunanidhi on Monday 2-4-12 slammed archrival AIADMK supremo and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa for demanding national monument status for Ram Sethu, saying that her party had for long pitched for its implementation for the state's development.



Janata Party President Subramanian Swamy had moved the Supreme Court against the demolition of Rama Sethu, while Jayalalithaa had written to Prime Minister Singh last week, insisting that the Centre declare it a national monument considering its "archaeological, cultural and historical importance."



Hindu belief is that the bridge was created by Shri Rama and Shri Lakshman with the assistance of Lord Hanuman and the 'monkey army' to reach Lanka in order to find Shri Rama's wife Sita who was kidnapped by Ravana.

Panguni Peruvizha, the annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple, is being celebrated with 10-day festival between March 28 and April 6. On March 27 the ‘Gramadevadai puja' was held at the Kolavizhi Amman Temple by 11 a.m.



On April 1 the deities were brought around in the savudal vimanam. Pallakku Vizha was held on April 2 in the morning.Car procession is one of the important events of the fest. By about 7.30 a.m., people all around the city gathered to pull the ropes of the temple car. It was pulled by huge crowds on all the four mada streets.

Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa on 31-3-2012 Saturday revoked the disciplinary action initiated against her long-time aide Sasikalaa Natarajan but reiterated that her relatives and close associates would remain expelled from the AIADMK.


In a statement, Jayalalithaa said, “Sasikalaa had written a letter to me. She also released a similar statement. I accept her explanation. The disciplinary action against her stands cancelled.”


Sasikalaa’s letter was released as a statement by the Jaya Plus channel last week. The AIADMK leader had thrown her friend out of her Poes Garden residence in December last and expelled her and her relatives from the primary membership of the party. She had also directed party members not to have any ties with any of them. Sasikala is also an accused in the disproportionate assets case.


Jayalalithaa said while Sasikalaa’s expulsion had been revoked, the party would not take back her relatives, including husband M Natarajan, brother Divakaran, nephews T T V Dinakaran, V Bhaskaran, V N Sudhakaran and S Venkatesh, and several others. She once again cautioned partymen not to associate themselves with them.


The CM had a change of heart after Sasikalaa wrote to her on March 28, saying she was unaware of the conspiracy hatched by her relatives to betray Jayalalithaa, and all she wanted to do was to share some of her friend’s burden and serve her. Sasikalaa’s two-page letter, later released as a statement on the television channel that has the CM’s backing, also stated that she was snapping ties with all her relatives. Sasikalaa also said she did not yearn for any post or position and had no desire to be in public life.


In what was then seen as an attempt to clean up the AIADMK and refurbish its image, the party chief distanced herself from her friend Sasikala of nearly three decades and the latter’s relatives and associates.


She expelled Sasikalaa and 15 of her relatives from the party in December last for allegedly acting as a parallel power centre and wielding extra-constitutional authority in the party and the government.


Senior AIADMK leaders declined to comment on party supreme J Jayalalithaa revoking the suspension of her former aide Sasikalaa. “We will accept the decision of our Amma (Jayalithaa). Whatever she decides, it will be good for us and our party,” said a senior AIADMK member.


It is our opinion that jayalalitha must now be more alert with her friends activities after her re-entery to the party and sasaikala also to be warned that she should not create supporters for her activities. If sasikalas entry takes back to her olden days regime it will bring bad name to Jyalaithaa.
