Money will not substitute Sub-Inspector Vetrivel precious life.

Money will not substitute Sub-Inspector Vetrivel precious life.

Tamil Speech by S.V.Ramani.

The brutal murder of a sub-inspector of police in Tirunelveli district of southern Tamil Nadu on Thursday was shocking, here is something that would shock one even more. Top officials and ministers were present at the spot where the inspector lay writhing due to injuries caused by an explosion from a crude bomb and sickles, but it took 20-30 minutes before he could be shifted to a vehicle. By then it was too late. Sub-inspector Vetrivel, father of two, was brought dead to the Tirunelveli Medical College Hospital.

State health minister MRK Panneerselvam, health secretary VK Subburaj, director of public health S Elango, environment minister TPM Mohideen Khan and Tirunelveli collector M Jayaraman reached the spot in a convoy, minutes after the SI was brutally attacked by a seven-member gang. Television footage aired on Friday showed chilling visuals of the SI writhing and groaning in pain on the road while officials and ministers stood around, apparently waiting for an ambulance.

Vetrivel was even seen sitting up, but the footage was blurred to avoid showing the badly wounded lower part of his body. Panneerselvam and other officials, meanwhile, were busy talking over mobile phones, possibly trying to get an ambulance. None seemed to have had the presence of mind to shift the wounded policeman to hospital in one of several vehicles standing by. The scene was captured by a local videographer engaged to cover the ministers’ visit.

The people were standing idle as if they were waiting for someone to come - may be God. If the vehicles and people standing there could not help the SI, it was most unfortunate thing. Will they expect the same treatment when one of them lies on the road bleeding and fighting for his life which would last for few minutes? Everyone at the spot must ask himself. We could see police officers too waiting - were they waiting for the orders from the political class?

This shows the deterioration of values and the love for other human beings. EVEN CRORES OF MONEY WAS GIVEN TO THE FAMILY MEMBERS OF Vetrivel, whether the money will bring a beloved son to his father and a faithful husband to his wife and a well wisher to his son?.

Time to reevaluate our next generation should be with mankind with every human being.

Kalaignar and Puratchiththalaivi must respect people’s mandate. Tamil Speech by S.V.Ramani.

Kalaignar and Puratchiththalaivi must respect people’s mandate. Tamil Speech by S.V.Ramani.

On May 13, 2006 Aiadmk general secretary J Jayalalithaa said she would attend the Tamil Nadu Assembly “only if the need arose”. The AIADMK leader, who won from the Andipatti constituency, said she had been “advised” against attending the House.

“A barbaric gang would lie in wait to pounce on me, just like they manhandled me in 1989,” she said, apparently referring to the DMK. “Nobody can forget how I was attacked and humiliated in the Assembly on March 25, 1989. Some of those who humiliated me that day will be back again as Ministers. My party men don't want me to attend the House because of this barbaric gang,” she said, adding that she would attend only if necessary.

Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha was arrested and sent to prison on Dec. 7,2006 charged with misappropriating government funds in a deal during her official tenure by Karunanidhi Government.

Former Chief Minister of Tamilnadu, Thiru M Karunanidhi was arrested at the Oliver Road residence of his second wife during the early hours of Saturday, 30.6.2001 on charges of corruption by Jayalalitha Government.

Like Jayalalitha, Karunanidhi was also not participated in the Assembly proceedings and went away duly signing the Register during Jayalalitha Government.

Is it proper for both the leaders to avoid the Assembly Proceedings for their personal grievances? If all other elected MLA’s wants to avoid the assembly session on their leaders footstep, which will safe guard the peoples welfare

Let the political leaders must forget their personal vengeance on each other and they have to come forward to respect peoples mandate and to work for them.

Haryana Police Chief Rathore and 14 years Girl Ruchika’s molestation case.

Haryana Police Chief Rathore and 14 years Girl Ruchika’s molestation case.
Tamil Speech By S.V.Ramani.

The mockery of justice in the Ruchika case, spare a thought for its premier investigating agency. When it files an appeal against the six-month sentence handed down to former Haryana police chief S P S Rathore, the CBI can dare not suggest what is on everybody’s lips: that the trial court should have convicted him not just for molestation (which carries a maximum penalty of two years) but also for the more serious offence of abetment of suicide (which carries a maximum penalty of 10 years).

Thanks to the public outrage over the trial court verdict of December 21, CBI is all set to reverse its stand on whether Rathore, who at 67 is a pale shadow of his former influential avatar, should be prosecuted for abetment of suicide. Since the outrage is focused on Rathore’s culpability, CBI has been lucky to escape questions about its own complicity in shielding him.

Just how blatant was its complicity is evident from the nature of evidence that was available with CBI before it filed the chargesheet in November 2000. Though there was a three-year gap between Ruchika’s molestation and her suicide, the connection between the two was obvious from the manner in which Haryana policemen, acting as Rathore’s goons, had stepped up the harassment of her brother Ashu just before she took the extreme step of consuming poison.

Ashu was picked up by the police on October 23, 1993 in connection with the car theft cases foisted on him. He was still in detention when Ruchika swallowed poison two months later, unable to cope with the way her family was being tormented. By suppressing such a direct link between the harassment and her death, CBI seems to have adopted Rathore’s line while opposing Madhu Prakash’s plea before the trial court for adding the charge of abetment of suicide.

Mercifully, CBI is unlikely to claim any such difficulty in recording Ashu’s testimony now. But the issues thrown up by the Ruchika case go beyond the imperative of trying Rathore for the myriad offences he committed to cover up his crime of molestation. What is equally important is to hold to account all those authorities who shielded him and to make the system more responsive and impartial.

After the trial court framed the abetment of suicide charge despite CBI’s opposition, how could the Punjab and Haryana High Court and Supreme Court set aside that decision? Besides, how could the apex court uphold Rathore’s petition challenging the HC-ordered probe into Ashu’s complaint of being framed in theft cases?

But, are our rulers shamed enough by the Ruchika scandal to loosen their much-abused hold over the police? The law should not leave any culprits even though they are in any high position. Our beloved Prime Minister must take a impartial decision from safe guarding the innocent people from the clutches of Police, Politician’s and Justice.

N.D.Tiwari Andhra Governor in Sex tapes a shame for Indian Politicians.Tamil Speech by S.V.Ramani.

N.D.Tiwari Andhra Governor in Sex tapes a shame for Indian Politicians.Tamil Speech by S.V.Ramani.

After N.D.Tiwari A.P. Governor pictures in a sex romp were flashed in the media, the Centre got veteran Congressman ND Tiwari to step down as Andhra Pradesh governor, disregarding his claim that he was a victim of a frame-up.
An embarrassed UPA government decided to ask Tiwari to vacate Raj Bhavan after a high-level meeting, which held that pictures purportedly showing Tiwari in the “intimate” company of three women had rendered his continuation as governor untenable. The Centre did not even wait for the report it has sought from the AP chief secretary, Ramakanth Reddy.

The quick action by the central leadership was designed to put a lid on the controversy, which landed women protesters at the gates of the Raj Bhavan, while triggering an avalanche of demands for the resignation for Tiwari from across the political spectrum.

The media in Hyderabad had flashed purported pictures of Tiwari in a compromising position with three women, which created a furore.

Millions of people of India were suffering in poverty and are staying in huts and even struggling for Two times meals. Politicians like Tiwari who are in highest position of Power are playing with people’s money for their immoral activities. People must see the real face of these political jackals and they must take a vow to drive them out of power and politics. Indian independence was achieved by shedding blood of lakhs of Martyrs. People must take a pledge to safe guard our country from these fake political leaders.

DMK offer and CPM democratic policies on Alagiri’s election

DMK offer and CPM democratic policies on Alagiri’s election

Chief minister M Karunanidhi’s remarks that the CPM was not reciprocating his gestures of friendship on Sunday evoked a sharp reaction from the Marxist party. Politics is not a place for bargaining, but “a battlefield for class struggle”, CPM state secretary N Varadarajan said, rejecting the DMK president’s hand of friendship and vowing to carry on its “dignified fight for the rights of the people”.

Reacting to Karunanidhi’s observation a day earlier that the CPM was spurning the DMK’s friendship offer despite him granting permission for the Left party to hold a rally and public meeting at Dindigul, Varadarajan, wondered whether allowing a public rally was an act of “magnanimity”. Whether there was an alliance or not, the CPM would make decisions on issues based on its political stand centred on public welfare, Varadarajan said.

“May be the chief minister is of the view that the CPM should have withdrawn the case (challenging Union minister MK Alagiri’s election to the Lok Sabha from Madurai) in exchange for granting permission for the public rally, the CPM leader said. However, the party would persist with the challenge through its dummy candidate in the election. Since the Tirumangalam bypoll, the DMK had made a mockery of democracy by distributing doles to voters and by stifling the opposition using police force, and the height of this trend was the atrocities committed in Madurai during the Lok Sabha elections, he alleged. CPM candidate P Mohan, who lost the election, went to the court, and after his demise, the CPM has taken up the case for the sake of democracy, Varadarajan emphasised.

The CPM has always put democracy first, he said, and recalled that his party had fought the Emergency alongside the DMK after being its strongest critic before the Emergency. And when the DMK government was dismissed, the CPM opposed it, he said. It was improper on the part of the DMK to expect CPM to avoid condemning the government’s policies or the wrong approach of the DMK just because an RS seat was given to the party, Varadarajan said.

Don’t mortgage your self-respect by taking money in the By-Elections. Tamil Speech by S.V.Ramani.

Don’t mortgage your self-respect by taking money in the By-Elections. Tamil Speech by S.V.Ramani.
Public must take a wow in not taking money from party candidates for voting by losing their self respect. Without adopting democracy policies, ruling parties in Tamil Nadu try to win the elections by adopting unethical ways like giving money and liquor. This is not the way of democracy as already told by Arignar Anna and Rajaji.
Now In the Tiruchendur byelection on December 19, the police on Wednesday seized the vehicle of DMK candidate ‘Anitha’ R Radhakrishnan’s son, Ananda Maheswaran, as it was found carrying foreign liquor worth Rs 10 lakh. [News in Times of India 17-12-2009]
Tirunelveli superintendent of police Asra Garg intercepted the Ford Endeavour car (TN59 AP 5555) at Arumuganeri around 2am while it was going from Thoothukudi to Tiruchendur. A total of 123 bottles of foreign liquor and cases of beer were found in the car.
According to police, the driver, G Sivasankara Narayanan (37) of Thoothukudi, said that the vehicle belonged to the DMK candidate’s son and that the liquor was being taken to Thandapathu, Radhakrishnan’s native village near Tiruchendur.
The driver and four occupants of the car — D Satheesh of Thandapathu; D Ikbal; his brother Ansari and S Jainudeen of Kayalpattinam — were arrested under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act for stocking and transporting liquor without licence. They were remanded in judicial custody by a Srivaikuntam court.
Today the way in which the by elections held in Tamil Nadu seems to be a big challenge to Indian democracy. Ruling parties take power in their hands and don’t respond to the election commission’s code of conduct and regulations for elections
Democracy will only survive if all parties follow the moral codes and people must stand bold on their self respect and vote only for the person who will work for the development of their constituency in Vandavasi and Tiruchendur.
