The Great Leader Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar condemned Dravidian Parties for separatism. Tamil Speech by S.V.Ramani.

The Great Leader Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar condemned Dravidian Parties for separatism. Tamil Speech by S.V.Ramani.

Muthuramalinga Thevar was born in the village of Pasumpon, Ramnad district. He hailed from a wealthy landlord family. Thevar was the only son of Ukkirapandi Thevar and Indirani. He had one sister, Janaki.
Thevar attended the 52nd annual session of the Indian National Congress, held in Tripuri in March 1939. At this meeting the presidency of Subhas Chandra Bose was challenged by Pattabhi Sitaramayya. Sitaramayya had the active support of Gandhi. Bose was re-elected as the Congress President. Thevar strongly supported Bose in the intra-Congress dispute.Thevar mobilised all south India votes for Bose.

Thevar, joined the Forward Bloc. When Bose visited Madurai on September 6, Thevar organized a massive rally as his reception.

The growing popularity in Thevar as a leader of elements opposing the official Congress leadership in Tamil Nadu troubled the Congress-led government. Thevar was also increasingly associated with labour militancy. A criminal case, the so-called Madura Security Case, was preceded against him. He was banned from leaving Madurai. When travelling to his birthplace, Pasumpon, in September 1940 he was apprehended and jailed for 18 months at the Central Jail in Tiruchirapalli. His capture sparked wide condemnation in Tamil Nadu.

Soon after his release he was again arrest, now under the Defence of India Rules. He was released from prison only on September 5, 1945.

In January 1952 the first general elections in independent India were held. The Forward Bloc contested with the aim of forming non-Congress governments at the Centre as well as in the states. Election was held simultaneously to the Lok Sabha as well as to the legislative assemblies of the states. Thevar contested the Aruppukottai constituency in the Lok Sabha election and the Mudukulathur constituency in the assembly election. He won in both cases. U. Muthuralingam Thevar died on October 30, 1963, on his 55th birthday

As an Indian nationalist, Thevar condemned the Dravidar Kazhagam its successor DMK for stimulating separatism and parochialism. Moreover he distrusted the Atheist element of the Dravidian political discourse.

Several official honours have been given to Thevar. In 1968 the Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar College was founded in Usilampatti .His biography was included in the high school textbooks in Tamil Nadu. In 1971 his cemetery in Pasumpon was converted into an official memorial. A life-size portrait of Thevar was installed in the Tamil Nadu assembly in 1980. In 1984, after the bifurcation of the Ramnad District the 'Pasumpon Muthuramalingam District' was created’ Greenways Road and Chamiers Road, two important arterial roads in Chennai, were renamed after Thevar, and currently there is a statue of Thevar where his eponymous road intersects with Anna Salai.

All Tamilians must follow the foot step of Thevar
and must work for the development of poor and downtrodden people.

Kanchi Sri.Jayendra Saraswathi name was maliciously included in a case. Tamil Speech by S.V.Ramani.

Kanchi Sri.Jayendra Saraswathi name was maliciously included in a case. Tamil Speech by S.V.Ramani.

In the words of Justice Narsimha Redyy of the AP High Cort, in a case where the Kanchi Seer's name was maliciously included in a writ petition in January, 2005: "the amount of disrepute and sacrilege inflicted upon Sri Jayendra Saraswati, as of now, is so enormous that it has hardly any comparables,'' adding that ``harshest possible words were used directly or in innuendo'' against him. ``Today he is subjected to similar treatment as was Draupati in the court of Kauravas.'' The ``importance of spiritual institutions can by no means be underestimated'' in `building and shaping' a `country' or `society', the judge added. The judge describes the Matt as ``an ancient, prestigious, glorious and reputed institution with almost 2500 years' history.''

Law will not take its own course: On the expression “law taking its course'' which has gained considerable currency these days (and used for Kanchi Shankarachrya), Justice Reddy says, "with due respect, it is not true at least in part.'' For this to be true, says the judge, "the prosecuting agency should present the case honestly, the witnesses depose truly, the provisions of the law are clear, and the adjudicator is efficient and honest.'' ...If the prosecution depends on the "whims of the agency or the government of the day, if the law is framed keeping certain individuals in view, if the witnesses keep changing their versions and if the adjudicator is not up to expected standards, the law will not take its own course, " the judge courageously pointed out. "The way in which the cases are foisted or withdrawn, particularly with the change of governments,'' and "the manner in which the witnesses come forward with conflicting versions'' illustrate why law will not take its own course. Justice Reddy's judgment should be embossed in gold.

The Kanchi Shankaracharya is the foremost spiritual leader of the Hindu faith. Among the four mutts set up by Adi Shankaracharya, who is credited with reviving the Hindu religion in medieval India, the Kanchi Peeth is the most revered one. Others include the Dwarka, Badrinath and Puri Peeth. The Shankaracharya was also in the news as his devotees include the who's who among the politicians and industrialists. The former President APJ Abdul Kalam was among the distinguished crowd.

H.H. Sri. Jayendra Saraswathi is an icon, an institution and the top most Hindu seer. His glorious fame cannot be destroyed by anybody.
Jaya Jaya Sankara! Hara HaraSankara!!

No By-elections needed in Tamil Nadu with misuse of Power, money and Rowdies.Tamil Speech by S.V.Ramani.

No By-elections needed in Tamil Nadu with misuse of Power, money and Rowdies.Tamil Speech by S.V.Ramani.

Without adopting democracy policies, ruling parties in Tamil Nadu try to win the elections by adopting unethical ways like giving money and other valuable things to voters and with the help of rowdies dropping forgery votes. If any opposition parties try to agitate against all these atrocities they are being attacked and arrested by policemen.

Expecting all these atrocities will continue in Tamil Nadu in the five assembly by elections, the AIADMK and MDMK parties of Tamilnadu boycotting the elections scheduled for August 18th 2009.

It is better that all the opposition parties in Tamil Nadu must boycott the by-election scheduled for 18th August, to teach the ruling party a lesson to realize the meaning of democracy as preached by its mentor Arignar Anna and Moral leaders like Mootharignar Rajaji.

Democracy will only survive if all parties follow the moral codes of the Indian Republic.

Santhome Church was constructed by destroying Old Myilai Kapaleeswarar Temple. Tamil Speech by S.V.Ramani.

Santhome Church was constructed by destroying Old Myilai Kapaleeswarar Temple. Tamil Speech by S.V.Ramani.

Kapaleashwarar temple in Chennai is dedicated to the Hindu Lord Shiva also known as Kapaleeswarar. The original 8th century Shiva temple was built by the Pallavas and located on the shore but it was destroyed by the Portuguese and was re-built as a church. 300 years later The Vijayanagara kings rebuilt the temple during the 16th century and added the majestic 37m gopuram at its gateway after the much older temple was destroyed by the Portuguese.
The presiding deity of this temple is a form of Shiva called Kapaleashwarar. The form of Shiva's wife Parvati at this temple is called Karpagambal (from the Tamil for "goddess of the wish-yielding tree"). Legend has it that Lord Shiva was once telling Lord Brahma, the Hindu god of creation, about the creation of the three lokas but Lord Brahma did not agree with what Shiva said. Shiva got angry and plucked out one of Brahma's four heads. Brahma begged for forgiveness and was asked to perform penance at Mayilai (Mylapore) and then he asked Lord Shiva to take the name of Kapaleashwarar as Lord Shiva (eswarar) was wearing a necklace of skulls (kapala).

The foreign invaders of India like East India Company and Afghans were in the habit destroying Ancient Hindu Temples and constructing their own worship places to propagate their religion and faith in India. But even though they have destroyed the Hindu Temples and looted the valuables they cannot able to destroy the faith of Hindus in their worship and cultural activities.

In November 2006 Pope Benedict XVI had categorically stated that St.Thomas never visited South India. When Catholic Indian Missionaries want to manufacture false and fictitious fables to deliberately mislead the poor and gullible masses of India for purposes of mass conversion

Statement about destruction of the original Kapaleeshwara Temple by Christians was confirmed by Dr. R. Nagaswamy, formerly Director of Archealogy Tamilnadu. In an article `Testimony to Religious Ethos', published in `The Hindu' of 30 April, 1990, he wrote: `A great study of the monuments and lithic records in Madras reveals a great destruction caused by the Portuguese to Hindu Temples in the 16 century A.D. The most important temple of Kapaleeshwara lost its ancient building during the Portuguese devastation and was originally located near the San Thome Cathedral. A few Chola records found in the San Thome Cathedral and Bishop's house refer to Kapaleeshwara Temple and Thirugnanasambandar Poompaavai. A Chola record in fragment found on the east wall of the San Thome Cathedral refers to the image of Lord Nataraja of the Kapaleeshwara Temple. The temple was moved to the present location in the 16 century.

Hinduism is like Himalayan Mountain and it cannot be disturbed by the sitting and flying of foreign religions like butterflies.

Rajpakshe following Buddhism must rectify himself with the principles of Buddha. Tamil Speech by S.V.Ramani.

Rajpakshe following Buddhism must rectify himself with the principles of Buddha. Tamil Speech by S.V.Ramani.

The International Committee of the Red Cross said on Thursday [9-7-20090 it had been ordered by Sri Lanka to scale down relief operations in the island where it has been helping civilian war victims. As a result, the ICRC said it was withdrawing expatriate staff from the battle-scarred northeast which was the focus of the final government offensive against Tamil Tiger rebels that ended in outright victory in May.

“The ICRC is in the process of reviewing its set-up and operational priorities in Sri Lanka,” said Jacques de Maio, the agency’s head of operations for South Asia.

The war started in 1983, when the widow of Solomon Bandaranaike was in power. The Bandaranaike policy was to crack down on the Tamil "foreigners", even denying them the right to use the Tamil language, the right to vote, the right to a public education and so on.

In 1987, Sri Lankan President J. R. Jayewardene came up with a brilliant solution’ He wanted that Rajiv and Prabhakaran to fight against each other. Therefore, Jayewardene made a deal with Rajiv. He would allow the Indian Army to come into Sri Lanka, provided that the Indian Army fought against Prabhakaran.

Now the present Srilankan President Rajpakshe wanted to follow the footsteps of his predecessors to wage a war against all Tamilians, and this will never help him.
Rajpakshe following the national religion Buddhism, must rectify himself with the principles of Buddha in showing kindness to humanity, and follow the good principles of Lord Buddha.
